Maps in this category cover one or more continent sized landmasses but do not clearly depict the entire world. There is no agreed upon definition of continent, so this is a subjective judgment. Generally I have included maps with at least one large mountain range and/or which appear self-contained and/or which contain more than one nation including an "empire" and/or which have scales showing the landmass to be more than 1000 miles across.
